Liz Urmy, LMSW-C

Certified Imago Relationship Therapist

I am passionate about guiding my clients through the intricate landscape of their relationships with a focus on authenticity, communication and reconnecting to your lost parts. As a relationship therapist, I am committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where every individual feels respected and understood. My therapeutic approach integrates a number of evidence-based modalities with an emphasis on Imago Relationship Therapy. Imago Therapy offers a structured framework for addressing past wounds and transforming conflicts into opportunities for growth and connection.

During therapy, we will collaboratively explore your relationship dynamics, identify strengths, and develop effective strategies for communication, intimacy enhancement, boundaries and conflict resolution. I am committed to supporting relationships as they navigate challenges, rebuild trust, and learn how to cultivate deeper connections.

Through self-discovery, healing, and connection we are all capable of experiencing full aliveness, resilience, and greater vitality. When we are attuned to ourselves and to others we can reduce anxiety and depression - and connect with greater ease and compassion.

With a foundation in social justice, I am committed to fostering an environment that promotes equity, respect, and understanding. I am passionate about my practice and committed to developing safe, loving relationships and helping my clients do the same. I believe through awareness and connection we are able to heal ourselves, our relationships, generational patterns of trauma and, by extension, heal our society. If you are ready to embark on a journey towards a more fulfilling relationship, I invite you to schedule a session with me.
